Kalamazoo Reverb 12 tube amp combo
This clean and great sounding amp has the original cover and working footswitch and is in very good condition. There are no major rips or tears in the tolex and one small snag on the grill cloth.
It has 2 instrument inputs, and Loudness, Treble, Bass, Frequency, Depth, and Reverb controls.
2 6BQ5/EL84 power tubes
3 12AX7 tubes
10" 8 Ohm 15W AKAI alnico speaker.
I bought this tube amp from an amp technician who went through it and improved the circuit by replacing old components and rewiring to make the amp much quieter for hum and buzz.
The power on and off has been moved away from the treble control and to a switch in the former AC input on the back. The original AC input is also included.
Original knobs are included.
A grounded AC plug cable has been added.
It can get plenty loud and has a great deep reverb from the tube driven long US made Gibbs tank.
The tremolo is also tube driven and can go from subtle to full stuttering high speed shimmer.
There are lots of discussions and videos online about these amps. From what I have heard, this is one of the better sounding and looking ones, having had a good checkup, good speaker and tubes put in, and being very clean to begin with.
