This thing is an excellent player. It will play cd, sacd, and dvd. This has been taken apart and thoroughly checked over and cleaned up. This is an old player that I had. It has been tested with both cd and DVD but wasn't able to test the sacd since I currently don't have any to test with. It was playing when I unhooked it about a year ago now. It does have a few very minor scratches on it in different places but nothing on the face. See the last two pictures for all the features and connections it offers. Just a really nice player. I can not find the remote but an after market can be found on Ebay for pretty cheap.
