Victor Wooten purchased his first Monarch bass, serial #037, in 1983. He still uses it regularly in concert and on recordings and considers it to be his #1 instrument. Thanks to Victor’s incredible talent and popularity, his Monarch bass has been seen by a great number of people throughout the years. As a result of receiving so many requests for a replica of his personal bass, we decided to offer the Victor Wooten ’83 Monarch Classic model as seen here. The Classic is essentially a Monarch Deluxe featuring the details of Victor’s personal bass.
