The SN-1000 EverTune Koa is a simply amazing guitar for any musician who needs all the high-performance design elements to do their very best work. This bolt-on guitar at 25.5” scale features a mahogany body topped with Hawaiian Koa, finished in Natural Satin for the wood grain to be prominently appreciated, and paired with a fast satin-finished thin u-shaped maple neck. Black hardware, black binding on the body, and a brushed black pickguard perfectly complement the koa top. The SN-1000 EverTune Koa also features a Macassar ebony fingerboard with a compound radius, featuring mother-of-pearl dot inlays, 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, and is scalloped from frets 15-22 for your best creative lead expression. A big highlight of this guitar is the innovative EverTune constant tension bridge, ensuring that your instrument remains in perfect tune at all points of the fingerboard in nearly all conditions. It also includes precise Grover tuners. The sound of the SN-1000 EverTune Koa comes from a special set of world-class passive pickups. Its bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Custom 14, a new pickup made exclusively for ESP that offers high output and extraordinary tonal balance with mind-blowing articulation and clarity, and is splittable with a push-pull control on the tone knob. The Custom 14 is paired with a cosmetically-matching Seymour Duncan APH-1 Alnico II Pro humbucker in the neck position, a legendary pickup that offers a warm tone that is smooth and full, with tons of natural sustain.

Pro-Tech Setup: Our Pro-Tech setup makes your guitar ready to rock straight out of the box. Here’s how:

  • Make any adjustments so the neck is straight to avoid any fret buzzing and for comfort
  • Check the nut and nut slots for any adjustments/filing to prevent any tuning issues, as well as for comfort at the lower frets
  • Make any adjustments to the bridge/tremolo system so it’s in the proper position for tuning stability
  • Set the action to a height that feels comfortable for each guitar
  • Set the intonation so you’re in tune everywhere on the neck

All of these steps will make your brand new guitar feel as comfortable as ever and ready to play straight out of the box!
