About This Listing

Winfield Electric Instruments (W.E.I.) 1965 Mk l.

"sola sound" mk 1 circuit copy. Different than the gary hurst model.

The three tested and selected General Electric 4jx germanium transistors are dated from the year 1965. They are chosen just for this circuit by me the builder. And guitar player that has requirements on gear. I build it for myself. Then play it.

The Mk l is not for everyone.

1965 technology was a long time ago. Use your guitars volume to control the tones. You should be playing this pedal on very good gear. I like a bright set amp with plenty of headroom. I play mainly a 50 watt non master volume Marshall clone. With a 4x12 cab . And vintage type humbuckers. And use my "guitars volume" control to get the sounds I want.

The pedal has one of a kind painted enclosure. True by pass switching, point to pont wiring. Other vintage components.

I have good feedback on my pedal builds.

I am not currently shipping to the EU.

If you should have any questions about the situation feel freedom to ask. I won't leave you hangin. Read my feedback. 🤗
