Garen Classic II 1960’s

All-tube combo amp. This is the version without the tremolo.

In the 50's, the Guen family made the famous Stimer, Django Reinhardt's amp, then one of the brothers created Garen.

Year probably end 60’s / 1970's

Unknown power: around 10 watts, but impressive power!

Nice clean sound, you can easily get a nice crunch at low volume by playing with the Tone knob.

Just plug it in, turn the pot and you're ready for great sound at reasonable volume.

Special feature: original Audax Elliptical loudspeaker.

2 equivalent input channels.

For guitar, it's equally well-suited to harmonica, and Blues of course, with its soft, warm saturation. But of course, any style of garage rock.

For its age, apart from a few dents, it's in very good condition, superb Tolex, superb amp.

Very solid for a very comfortable weight.

So, yes, I've just bought it and am putting it back on sale at the same price.

In the meantime, a personal problem has come up.
