Very rare artist owned guitar. This is a 1968 Gibson Firebird I Non-Reverse in very good condition. Owned by Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes. This guitar was recorded with and toured with the Black Crowes. Video included of Rich playing it on David Letterman in 1994. No breaks, or neck repairs. Lots of natural finish checking. There is no tremolo piece. It is set up as a wraparound. This guitar will not be sold outside of the US.
The history of this guitar is as follows. It was originally purchased by Scott Silvers (Original owner of Chicago Music Exchange) It was part of his personal collection and not for sale until Dave Kault acquired CME in 2010. In 2012 it was sold to the current owner.
This guitar comes with the Black Crowes touring case, A letter from CME with Rich Stating this was his guitar, and the quality certification letter when sold by Chicago Music Exchange.
