Up for sale, a 2011 Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass AJB left-handed model in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original padded gigbag and hangtags. A “Made in Japan” model sold exclusively within Japan and select international markets, this Aerodyne is unique both visually and sonically, with features including a PJ pickup configuration, “drop top” contoured and bound body, satin neck, and gloss Vintage White finish with matching headstock.

While most Fender basses outfitted with the PJ pickup configuration have a Precision-style body, this Aerodyne has the sleek looks and comfortable 1 1/2” nut width of the Jazz Bass. The pickups offer the ample thump and heft of a Precision split-coil neck pickup, and the midrange cut and articulation of a Jazz Bass pickup at the bridge. Tonewoods include a basswood body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard. This Aerodyne weighs 8lbs 8oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
