This is Martin D42 style dreadnaught, custom built by Florida luthier Ken Blount. The top wood is Sitka spruce and the back and sides are high grade East Indian rosewood. The inlays are the snowflake 42 style, and the back stripe is . It has a mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard. The binding is and the edge purfling and rosette are abalone. The guitar is in great condition, one mark on the neck finish shown in the pictures. New Ken customs start at $3800 and this is top of the line. Comes equipped with a Fishman matrix infinity VT

Ken Blount is in his 30th year as a guitar builder, and has built over 300 instruments in that time. In that period, he has had pieces purchased by buyers world wide, both players and collectors. Blount guitars are all hand crafted by Ken. He does not use 'apprentices' or other assistants to construct his instruments. He has built both traditional and cutaway guitars of all body sizes, wood combinations, and of varying degrees of cosmetic enhancements such as inlays.
