No damage of any kind to this thing. I mean of course it's built like a tank lol. This is just a great sounding symbol all around and a little bit hard to come by I guess. I looked real hard to find one locally only to end up getting a strangely sweet sounding marching band crash that I am now using as my ride. Think dry but brassy with a fair amount of low end in the microphone. Good stick definition but it washes easily. The bell is just a dry crack. Definitely a low to medium volume cymbal so it's great for a smaller shows.
