1994 Alastair McNeill Concert Classical Guitar in the Hauser style. Spruce top and rosewood back and sides. French Polish finish. 650 mm scale length and 52 mm nut width. Action is set at 4mm bass side and 3.5 mm treble side and it plays great. A shorter saddle is included in the case if you like the action lower.
Beautiful and meticulous craftsmanship that this builder is known for is evident in this fine example.
The original Kingham Case Co. custom case is included. The original key is included.
This guitar is 30 years old and has it's share of scratches and scuffs and play wear, so it will never be a collector's special. However, it is structurally fine. The tone is one of my all time favorites. There are some good examples on the web of the fine tone of these guitars. This example is light weight and very responsive with good volume and a lovely warm articulate tone. It plays very easy with a very comfortable neck.
This guitar was professionally repaired to include a new ebony fingerboard and new frets to improve the playability. Now the geometry is correct and the intonation is spot on.
Added the last two pictures as requested to show the color better in natural light.
