1944 S.S. Stewart 9010 Antique Acoustic Guitar

This is a 1944 SS Stewart 9010 Acoustic Guitar in Good condition. The guitar plays well but is in need of some TLC to make it a true songbird again. The guitar had some period mods. The bridge is not original, but these were often changed out on this model because the original would loosen and move. The bridge that is on it now is a period "Banner" style bridge and give it a unique look! There is some custom Hawaiian style paintwork as well.

There are a few cosmetic issues with the guitar. I tried to capture all the issues in the pics.. There is a small drill hole at the top of the body just the right of the neck. I am confident this is the screw hole to the original pick guard. There are several surface scuffs and scratches that could be buffed out or enjoy the patina as is. The back side sunburst is gorgeous! This is a nice project guitar or for someone who wants a little old school flavor in the guitar arsenal!
