- 1970s Epiphone ET-290 Crestwood / Wilshire. Made in Japan.
- Frets in good shape considering the guitar's age. No buzzing. Plays very well.
- Has an awesome, full-body, vintage Epiphone/Gibson (humbucker) tone. (I play through a VOX AC30 hand-wired.)
- These Epiphones are known for their shorter scale (24.75"), thinner neck and lightweight body, which give a great feel and playability.
- All original. No modifications or additions.
- Comes with original hard case (one buckle missing).
- These guitars have become pretty rare and retain their value very well.
Made in the famed Matsumoku plant in Japan, this guitar is in excellent condition and is ALL ORIGINAL. Pictures show a few dings and minor wear / fading on some of the hardware, which is to be expected for a guitar that's almost 50 years old! Frets show surprisingly little wear. Definitely plenty of use left in them.
This guitar is slim and light, with a shorter scale (24.75"), thin neck, and low action. Such a dream to play, especially given its age.
The guitar looks and sounds great. The humbuckers have a wonderful, vintage, signature sound.
If you don't have one of these in your collection, I would highly recommend adding this one, especially since they've become so rare.
Comes with the original hard case. Message me with any questions.
