Very Cool 1985 Ibanez Roadstar II RS440-BK Deluxe in Very Good condition!
Great scott! we've just taken in this awesome Ibanez Roadstar II and it has taken us back to Hill Valley, on October 26th, 1985! If you haven't guessed already a Roadstar II very similar to this was featured & used by Marty McFly in Back To The Future during the Pin Head's Battle of the Bands audition in front of Huey Lewis. If that isn't justification enough to bag this 80s Ibanez, then its also worth noting that the RS440-BK is still to this day a very versatile instrument, with a push/push coil-split situated under the tone knob, Ibanez Smooth Tuners & its Ibanez Pro Rok'r Double Locking Trem. This is one Roadstar II that will cover all the bases & hold its tuning while doing so!
While our RS440-BK has been sent back from the future, it does have some signs of its 39 years of time travel in the back of the Delorean. As you can see from our images it does bear a small collection of chips & dings, the most prominent of which being on the bottom of the top (pictured) & some lacquer chipping around the neck pocket as you'd expect with any bolt-on instrument with some years under its belt. Otherwise, this is a great Ibanez that will still go strong for many years to come with a comfortable low action & effortless feel!
As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool RS440-BK has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!
