In the early 20th century, F. Besson was one of the most prominent instrument manufacturers in not just France but the whole world. Their trumpet design was very popular among American orchestral players, and form the basis of most modern trumpet designs. While smaller and ergonomically distinct from modern instruments, these old Brevete models are still excellent players.
This Brevete is a pre-war edition with a 92XXX serial. It has no major repairs or finish loss. The valves are in amazing condition and the compression is excellent.
