2003 Fender Deluxe Precision Bass Special , MIM
Hello. Up for sale is an interesting 2003 Fender Deluxe Precision Bass Special bass guitar. This bass was made in Mexico.
These basses are pretty cool. They are a PJ style and this one has a maple neck and Candy Apple Red finish. These basses were made for a while in the years 1999-2004. They feel closer to a US bass.
This bass has the skinny Jazz Bass nut. The pickups are passive Alnico's and the bass has CTS pots. It weighs 9 pounds. Everything works and the bass plays and sounds good. Later this model was issued with active pickups.
The bass was just set up and restrung. The bass looks like a clean bass that was used pretty hard for a while. The frets are in good shape and the truss rod works. The neck has normal relief. As you can see in the pics there are some chips in the finish and the bottom and back edges.
I will include a gig bag with the bass. Sold as is no returns. Shipping is $90 in the US and $190 to many countries.
