1927 Martin 0-18 Acoustic Parlor Guitar. The side cracks have been professionally repaired and are very solid as is the repair at the bottom of the backside. I could have had the side sanded down to help hide the repair or even replaced the side, but being nearly 100 years old, I wanted to keep it as original as possible. Besides, it has character ……and the stories it could tell. One of the tuners is bent but functions properly. The guitars sounds very nice, much more sound than you would expect from a smaller body guitar. Action is a bit high at 12th fret, 11/64 low E, 9/64 at high E. The neck is pretty straight except that it slopes a bit on the LOW string side down by the Soundhole. There is buzzing at the 6th and 10th on the higher string with the high e 6th fret deadening out. The intonation seems pretty good at the 12th fret. The last photo shows a closeup of a crack that has appeared since all the repair work was done, it does go all the way thru. Will include old chipboard case, not sure if it’s original to the guitar or not.
