This is a 1997 JJ-4 from MOON GUITARS, a pioneer in Japanese component guitars.

It has an ash body (Warmoth), maple neck, maple fingerboard with fluted 21st fret, Moon JJ pickups & Moon Black Bird preamp, 2 volume//2 band EQ controls, and Moon original bridge.

This guitar has a core tone that allows for a wide range of sound making.

The serial number is blurred and only "* 2664" is visible. It shows signs of use (white paint on the first string side horn, joint, and strap pin area of the body, scuffs and scratches, hairline scratches, scratch marks, picking marks, fogging and pitting on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is low but high enough to play well.
