I purchased this from the original owners family after he passed.

I’ve enjoyed it for 15 years and it’s time to let someone else enjoy this beauty. It came to me with the original hang tags, chipboard case , pitch pipe, and capo. I bought a hard shell case for it to better protect it . The tuner buttons had started to disintegrate which is fairly common and I had new buttons installed. A few years ago the original tailpiece suffered some metal fatigue and broke and I sourced an exact vintage one to replace it . The original will be included and is shown in the photos. It’s currently strung with a set of light flatwounds and plays like a dream with a straight neck and low action . The original electronics have been cleaned and operate smooth and clean. The original pick up measures 7.94 on my meter. Serial number is y 4400 18 which is visible in the photos and dates this to 1953. The photos say it all , a few minor imperfections here and there but I’ve not seen a cleaner one . I will be shipping it in the hard shell case and will also ship the original chipboard case if my asking price is met . If not I may ask for shipping cost for it .
