This fuzz is based on a two-transistor Fuzz Face/ Tonebender MK 1.5, but with several tone-based differences.
Most importantly, this uses NOS GE 2N337 silicon transistors - and they’re BLUE! These are low-gain devices so this this fuzz has a decidedly different character than your typical fuzz: it can do beautiful overdrive with a twist of your volume knob while still delivering some gnarly fuzz, but without getting too wooly or dark. It has tremendous volume on tap- more than enough to drive an amp into distortion.
It’s entirely handwired using the highest quality components, and comes in a heavy duty powdercoated aluminum enclosure.
