This instrument boasts maple neck-through construction with a bound rosewood fingerboard, yielding healthy sustain and an immediate, resonant quality that translates faithfully through the Hi-Gain pickup pair. These single coils have a distinctive midrange heft and tonal color, with plenty of growl and low end richness. Weighing 9lbs 8oz, this 4003 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and spot-on intonation.
