Since Ive had this mixer, it has mostly been used for doing live band rehearsals kinda as a PA.. but I also have recorded a fair amount of tracks thru it, (acoustic and keys mostly) using the pre amps and actual channels and I really like the sounds I got once I dialed them in!
There is a decent amount of noise on some channels with more gain but that’s expected with analog mixers from the 80s! Overall it’s in pretty good shape and I’ve had fun playing with it. If someone with more gear knowledge than me buys it, I’m sure you could get it sounding really cool and clean. I just don’t know enough.
Oh and there is one button missing on the right side of the console. It’s the second button down of the button in the bottom right corner
