About This Listing

Paiste RUDE 14" Crash/Ride - 1983 Serial Number - 886 Grams

As far as I know, this size hasn't been offered in the Crash/Ride since the 3000 RUDE series ended in 1993. (If you have a 2002 RUDE in this size, send me a picture and I'll give you a credit for its use on cymbal.wiki)

This is the review I left for this on that site:

"This is a bright, punchy crash, with a decent sustain for its small size. If you watch my video, you'll notice that it is nearly the same in weight and sound as the RUDE Sound Edge Hi-Hat Top. It's too small to be used as a main crash for any type of music that I can think of, but this could be used as a side crash for quick accents, as Charlie Benante did for awhile in the 80s. (Although his was the 1000 RUDE 14" Crash/Ride) This size in this model hasn't been made for quite a few years, so they're not at all common. This is the second hardest Crash/Ride to find, after the 15" size, which is rarely found."

I made a video of THIS EXACT CYMBAL, which I linked herein.

This has silky smooth edges, with no cracks, no keyholing, and no dents or dings. It just shows average wear for a 40+ year old cymbal.

I will ship worldwide. Payment in Euros via Bank Transfer is also available.
