The Everly Brothers are Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Phil Everly and Don Everly, who were active as the Everly Brothers in the 1950s. He was one of the most popular artists in the world at the beginning of rock music from the early 1960s. Their high-pitched harmonies were supported by a driving rhythm part played by matching Gibson acoustic guitars.

Gibson has added the Everly Brothers J-180 to its Custom Shop Artist model lineup. It features a maple body and Sitka spruce top, replicating the decorative details characteristic of classic Gibson Everly Brothers models. Features include an ebony gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, a double tortoise mustache pickguard designed in collaboration with the Everly Brothers, and mother-of-pearl star inlays on the headstock and neck. The Everly Brothers J-180 also features a bone nut and saddle, TUSQ bridge pin, and Grover(R) Rotomatic(R) tuner with keystone button. Equipped with an L.R. Baggs(TM) VTC under-saddle pickup and preamp, it's ready for stage or studio use.

The J-180 has a unique, dynamic yet sharp sound, and it has a nice body that is easier to hold than the SJ-200, giving you a pleasant sound!
