The pedal was tested and it works fine.

It has True Bypass Switching.

The Graphics on the Front Side and the Graphics on the Bottom PLATE (but not the bottom label) are an aged white (off-white) color. I'm not sure if this is how the white color is supposed to be like or if it has aged.

The shade of the white color on the Bottom LABEL is fine ( a regular white color).

The previous owned flipped over the bottom plate when it was being used on a pedal board. And the under side (which was used as the outer side had velcro on it. The velcro was put on with a glue adhesive. The velcro was taken off. And since it was difficult to take off the glue adhesive - the hard adhesive had to be scratched off. Resulting in the under-side of the bottom plate getting some scratches and nicks. SEE pictures # 7, # 8, and # 9.

The CASING -- Generally clean, But it has a couple of chips here and there - mostly on / near some of the corners and some of the edges. Also-

  • The Front Area of the LEFT SIDE has a short light - but visible scuff (kind of like a short scratch).
  • The Mid Left ares of the BACK SIDE has a small round scuff ( it's kind of like a small round scuffs witha few very short dash scratched in it).
  • The FRONT SDIE of the is mostly clean. The bottom left corner has a small chip in the finish, the bottom let area has a small scuff in the finish with a few very short scratches, and the upper mid right area of the casing (NOT the treadle) has a very small chip in the finish.

The RUBBER PART on the Top Side -- Even though it has several light scuffs, several tiny nicks, several very short scratches - it's still in very good shape.

The Fulltone GRAPHIC on the Top Side - It is in near A+ shape. The upper ares of the "F" has a very light hair-line surface scratch.

The Graphics on the FRONT SIDE  -- They're fine. The GRAPHICs on the Front Side is an off white color.

The Inside of the Pedal (circuit board, inside components, casing) -- Extremely clean.

BOTTOM PLATE (main / outer side):  Extremely clean. The graphics on the Bottom PLATE (NOT he bottom LABEL) are an off white color.

BOTTOM LABEL: Near A+ The Middle Area of the LEFT SIDE has a very small piece of the label that is cut off -- some people might call it a small nick (SEE close-up picture # 6)

The UNDERSIDE of the Bottom Plate -- It has several visible scrathces adn soem visible nicks in the finish.

The pedal has all of the FEET: In general the feet are fine. The bottom areas have light scuffs.

The gears (stem. etc) are lubricated. The old lubricant was cleaned off and fresh white lithium grease was added.

  • By the way - Home Depot sells the white Lithium grease - in case you wan to add a little more. You can add a dab and return the tube to back Home Depot😉

Some of the silver hardware has light oxidation / surface clouduness.

Features:

You should note that the ClydeTM has more travel in its pedal, hence more tonal range than any other wah. The "sweep" (range of sound) is set by me during final inspection (I play every one) and should not be changed...since ours has more travel, you already have full access to all the Bass and treble available!. One must take into account the physical range available from the pot (potentiometer) so please don't mess with the drive-train and/or the pot itself, you might ruin it, thus voiding your warranty, ruining your gig, and possibly forcing you to sleep alone tonight.

Resonance Control: There is an user adjustable Trimmer inside this pedal SEE close-up picture # 11

  • (right now it is at the factory setting) that lets you change the gain and bottem-end (Bass) response...it is located on the circuit board and requires no tools to set. There is room around this trimmer for you to mark your favorite settings using any type of permanent marker. With the wah plugged in and amp on, turn the wah over and remove the back plate by loosening the 4 rubber feet (note: no tools required, just turn counter clockwise until they come out) With the wah situated in front of you so that the section of the unit with the battery is facing you, notice the trimmer with a line pointing to a black arrow (this is my favorite setting) for your particular wah) Now set the trimmer to @ 2 O'clock.that's a stock '60's Vox sound. Turning the trimmer clockwise gets more gain and Bass, don't worry, the trimmer will stop full left and full right so you won't lose your settings!

True Bypass switching:

  • True Bypass switching is essential for no tone loss when effect is off. The wah is activated by rocking all the way forward and pressing hard with your foot. This amount of pressure needed to activate effect can be adjusted for firmer or softer feel.

TREADLE:

  • The Treadle (part that your foot rests on!) is also adjustable for a firmer or softer feel. This is accomplished by either loosening or tightening the "nylock" nut on the side of the treadle at the pivotpoint where it connects to the bottom housing. It will stay put until you change it the next time.

JACKS: Guitar Out, Guitar Input, and power.

The youtube video below- titled "How to Adjust a Wah pedal's on/off switch" - shows a Fulltone Clyde Deluxe - but in this listing - the Clyde STANDARD is for sale. The concept for making this type of adjustment is the same (for either model wah).

I took pictures of all sides of the pedal. The are some pictures of the inside of the pedal. And there ae a few pictures of areas of interest / of concern.

NOTE: There may be a some imperfections that I overlooked. There maybe some imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures. And - there are some things that show up in the pictures that are not visible in person - like glares / reflections / dust specks.

The following is infor matin about this model pedal.

Based on the hugely influential Clyde McCoy wahs Vox put out in the late ‘60s, the Fulltone Clyde Standard Wah is an express train to Hendrix-style wah-wah bliss. The Clyde Standard’s circuitry is almost entirely identical to the “Signature” Clyde McCoy wah Jimi Hendrix used on “Electric Ladyland”, down to the ‘60s Vox-type inductor. The only big change is the addition of an internal hand-adjustable bass and gain knob for additional tonal control (Internal TRIMMER). The sturdy and versatile Clyde Standard has all the makings of a classic wah pedal with a truly classic sound.
