This magnificent L-7 is a superb player bursting with charm & authentic vintage character. With a perfectly sculpted neck, this gorgeous archtop delivers a bright, punchy tone with silky smooth attack. It's voice is exceptionally powerful & projects like a cannon. All in all, a truly stunning guitar. Professionally set up by the experts here at Cream City Music with nice, low action & marvelous playability.

Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition actually, considering its 80years old - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & weather checking. There are four top cracks that have all been professionally repaired & the body was oversprayed after the repairs. Overall the guitar has a wonderful look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.

Neck: Chunky maple neck with gorgeous bird's eye figuring. Nicely aged cream binding with tortoise side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bound headstock with old-style Gibson script logo. Open-gear nickel tuners with cream buttons. The D & G tuners are slightly bent, but still function properly. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well up & down the fretboard.

Body: Arched top & back with 3-ply binding. Solid spruce top in sunburst finish with dual F-holes. Nickel trapeze tailpiece with rosewood crossbar. Compensated rosewood bridge & floating bass. Unoriginal tortoise pickguard with 5-ply binding. Solid maple back & sides with tons of stunning bird's eye figuring. 17" lower bout width with 3 1/2" depth. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 5 lbs 15.4 oz & is exceptionally resonant!

Case: Original tweed hardshell case included.
