Up for grabs is a rare, vintage, made-in-Japan Epiphone FT-150 BL. This dreadnought acoustic guitar features a bolt on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and pearloid rectangle inlays. It also has a spruce top / maple back and sides for the body in a gloss finish with herringbone binding.
From our research online, it appears this version of the production is rare due to it's maple b&s design where the more common version was the mahogany b&s configuration. It's also less common to find made-in-Japan Epiphone's in today's marketplace.
The guitar is in good condition, but does show areas of wear throughout. Portions of the hardware are dirty and slightly scuffed, the pickguard shows a good amount of scratches, the top near the very bottom section has a ding, the side (treble) of the guitar at the top has a large worn area, and the other side (bass) near the bottom shows a half circle wear mark. We've attempted to photograph the guitar's blemishes and circle each mentioned.
Guitar is completely functional and plays beautifully. Would make for a great strummer, a great collectible, or a perfect singer/songwriter guitar.
