Functionally, it is in perfect condition and condition is Like New after professional cleaning and complete re-painting & lacquering of Liberation body,
Early 80s Moog Liberation keytar-style performance synth. Monophonic with a 10-voice poly-section organ, 2 VCOs, 2 Oscillators etc.
Included is the original power supply/interface and the original cable. No strap, No case.
SYNTH WHEN REPAIR TECH NOTES: Confirmed issues with ribbon sensor and intermittent sliders & front panel controls, crackly cable connections. Opened instrument, removed decaying foam from controls, replaced OSC 2 Mix and Filter Cutoff sliders, full controls cleaning, reflowed internal cable harness for ribbon sensor, replaced insulating tape for ribbon sensor, cleaned all internal cables and connectors. Opened pitchbender ribbon, cleaned and reset internal connections. Pitchbender working well now. Full re-painting & lacquering of Liberation body, reassembled synth for full tuning/calibration and play-test. All keys and controls functioning reliably, Liberation looks amazing, plays even better!
