About This Listing

An excellent example of a '64 Gibson-made FT-110 Frontier factory second, although we aren't sure why! This classic square-shouldered dreadnought features a Spruce top with Maple back and sides in a Cherry Sunburst finish, a bound neck with slotted-block mother-of-pearl inlays, and an adjustable saddle bridge. Great cosmetic condition for its age with only minor dings and heavier finish checking on the top (it looks sweet!) Plays amazingly with a great feel and sounds great delivering a big, warm tone with great clarity, and a Gibson-esque throaty midrange punch that is reminiscent of a J-45! A rare and fantastic Epiphone acoustic. Includes non-original hardshell case.

Product Overview
After Gibson purchased Epiphone in 1957, it began to update a number of older Epiphone acoustic models to be more in line with current Gibson production. Starting in 1962, this guitar was outfitted with an adjustable saddle in the bridge like many other Gibson-made flattops.
