I recently bought this Kamaka HF-4 baritone ukulele new, with pickup and setup it was $2295 plus tax (). However the string spacing was too wide for me (coming from guitar), so I immediately had a new slightly narrower (9mm) nut installed (the original Kamaka nut is also included with the uke though).
Unfortunately I still couldn't get comfortable with the adjacent string spacing, and I didn't want to replace the tailpiece on a high-quality instrument like this, so I'm going to look for something less expensive I can mod instead.
This instrument has been played maybe a total of 4 hours and is in mint condition - in fact, upgraded condition: when I did the narrower nut I also them upgrade the original passive Fishman to an active JC Baggs Five-O pickup ($169 value uninstalled).
Comes with Kamaka hardshell case and original Kamka nut. Shipping cost based on USPS (reverb.com estimate).
(4.29.24 - price reduced to partially offset recent reverb.com adjustment to shipping costs)
