3-Ply shell with clean and original bearing edges.
Overall in very good original condition. Complete, structurally sound, and in working order.
Wrap is holding well and free of any cracks or pulling. Finish is clean and even around the drum with some standard signs of aging and use.
Shell and edges are in original condition and structurally sound.
Hardware is all in good working order and appears to be original aside from the wires. Cast hoops show speckled pitting, scratches, and some denting.
Strainer works well and adjusts properly.
An excellent example of a classic 50's Gretsch snare.
