You found one - the elusive Sterling Classic bass from Music Man. These basses were made for a short period of time around 2010-2012 and featured a handful of differences from their standard models. Individual string mutes and a string-through design are nice upgrades from the standard Sterling models and the birdseye maple neck is stunning in person. These necks came lacquered from the factory, but this one has been knocked down and coated with Music Man’s proprietary gunstock oil/wax combo and it is now the fastest neck you’ll ever play. It’s incredibly comfortable and has been ”worn” more in the typical playing area to give it a relic’d appearance, but the entire neck is perfectly smooth with a nice satin feel to it.
This one has a handful of very minor cosmetic blemishes - mainly just light scuffs and scratches here and there that can be seen in black finishes. No chips, dents or significant damage to note. Music Man hard case is included as well.
