About This Listing

1950s Slingerland Parade Drum in sparkling gold pearl

10x14

Vintage marching drums are relatively common but ones in this finish, in this condition, with fully intact inlayed wood hoops are not! This drum is all original except for the heads and snare wires and is in great shape! While there are still signs of wear, the 70 year old build up has been cleaned off the nickel hardware and the gold glitter wrap has been buffed back to a like-new shine! The shell is in spectacular shape with clean, original edges. This drum has plenty of life left and would be great played as intended as a marching snare but also could be a killer deep side snare, floor snom, or even converted mini-kick.
