Vintage beauty, handmade by master luthier Ryoji Matsuoka in the 1960s.
This is by far the finest Aria classical guitar that I have played. Robust and earthy, this guitar sings with a beautiful Spanish voice that must be heard to be appreciated.
The solid cedar top is incredibly responsive, and has no cracks or separations. Bridge is intact with no lift. Nut and saddle are in great shape. Action at 12th fret is 2.5mm. Beautiful highly figured rosewood back and sides.
Headstock veneer has some minor cosmetic scarring. Soundboard has nail marks commensurate with its age. All things considered, this guitar is in incredible condition and is a dream to play.
Active piezo under saddle pickup, with battery mounted on neck foot, covering the serial number. Label style suggests 1960s and it is marked Nagoya, Japan.
Includes a vintage wood hard shell case.
Thanks for looking!
