neck is a little too small for me, still nothing compares to this guitar sonically. i really only play huge necks. i would say it feels powered, like that of a rarified travis bean. it seems like something's in there helping you along. and 30+ years I've never played a 50s Gibson that felt this good. it doens't make sense that something petite could produce such a big powerful sound. but then again the '65 slab mosrite is just like that. i like this guitar because it passes all the tests. excels in all the areas that most guitars fall short. a pleasure to play. just feels so unique, so different. certainly not a 50's junior or special. man, they can be good... but they ain't like this!

the 2nd guitar he made with echopark name. the 1st guitar, a black one, along with it's owner are missing. that first guitar was a fender scale length and not quite like this one. it was a black '59 and the owner is missing in a literal sense. this guitar is therefore referred to as the #1 echopark. the most important echopark. i'm not sure how i ended up with it, i don't remember. he said he'd never let it go, but it was perhaps only let go as a special favor.

there is no other mahogany guitar that i've ever come across in 30 years or searching that feels or performs like this. it's a rare, sacred, lucky piece of wood. you will feel this instantly when you pick it up. it takes two seconds. you do not need to plug in. it doesn't feel like any junior, it doesn't feel like any 58 burst. it feels singular. its very unique mahogany, and the performance is unbelievable.

this guitar has been played by joe perry, dean fertita, mike ness, jackson browne, johnny depp, jack white, vincent gallo, pete distefano, brendan benson, qotsa, was used on the whole iggy tour, the raconteurs, and been in major studios. guitar has been played by everyone who came into contact with gabe. this is the guitar he brought to people to show off, no wonder why. makes perfect sense why. 99.99% of great guitars will not do what this does, it does it's own thing. i believe it to be humanly impossible to recreate. if somenone was able to figure out how what old armoires & desks to buy, what mahogany species, how & why this is possible, they would be instant millionaires. if you could recreate this guitar in volume you would change the entire guitar business. i believe this to be impossible, having tried it for 30 years. he can't do it, you can't do it, it can't be done. i believe it to be a miracle of cymatics. the only comparison is brian may's guitar, and other stand alone miracles. it snaps, it bites, it delivers. arena level guitar. i think it was used on the aerosmith record. has been used by too many to count over 13 years.

has one of the most amazing PAF's. was used on tour with social distortion. when was the last time you saw a humbucker on stage with social D? been a long time, almost 40 years. to me this pretty much says it all. it's the best modern PAF of all time. for sound clips listen to "tonight" at royal albert hall, dean fertita playing with ig.

make that $50K fake "greenie" shit it's pants. not a fair comparison, i know. here we have one of the best guitars on earth.. very special guitar. it is undeniably a magical guitar.
