Revelation RBJ-67 3 Tone Sunburst Electric Bass Guitar

Here for sale we have a Revelation RBJ-67 in 3 Tone Sunburst finish. This guitar features a bolt-on construction consisting of Okoume body, Maple neck and 20 fret Maple fingerboard. 

This guitar is fitted with vintage style bridge and tuning machines. The pickups installed are a pair of Entwistle JBXNl pickups, wired to independent volume pots and a master tone.

The Maple neck plays smoothly, feeling comfortable in the hand. The ‘C’ shape profile and jumbo fret wire make for a dependable playing surface. The Gloss finish to the rear makes for swift and fluid transitions whilst feeling tactile and pleasing under the thumb. The double cutaways provide excellent access to the upper register, overall the ‘J’ style body contours feeling familiar and ergonomic.

The Entwistle JBXN pickups sound very well balanced and are able to produce a classic jazz bass sound. A weighty low end with punchy mids and clear, articulate highs this bass is overall an excellent workhorse bass, capable of covering virtually any genre. This bass is an affordable and reliable vintage inspired instrument.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Very light denting which has cracked the finish is present to the top side edge and to the front face bottom side corner edge on the treble side.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Very light scratching is present to the fingerboard, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable in the lower register.

Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the front face, rear face and lower bout side edge, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the lower bout side edge. A very small crack to the finish is present to the treble side of the neck pocket. This does not flex under pressure causing no structural concern. Cracking to the finish is present to the bass side edge of the lower bout, with some wood exposed due to this.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
