Hello fellow EVH-fans, I’ve seen other tribute builds, and I have to say my build is pretty good, compared to other high-priced builds here on reverb, does my Franky look as good as Judah’s? No, but it’s pretty damn good for the price I’m listing it as, I put this guitar together from quality parts, tried to get every little detail right, even has the correct 1971 D-mint Quarter, The body is basswood, The neck is a maple fingerboard on maple which I coated with Tru-oil, The pickups are both high output (my preference), the single coil is at over 10k ohm and functional with a pull/push 500k volume pot, the humbucker is at over 13k ohm from a Epiphone Les Paul guitar, both sound great, I had to add a neck pocket shim to compensate for adding the Floyd Rose which gave it great low string action, it has a brand new Floyd Rose Special, locking nut is also a brand new Floyd Rose R2, any questions are welcomed, plz follow my Facebook page "Fair Warning Guitars"
