Yep- this is one of those infamous Effin guitars. they no longer offer the Flying V so you can't get these anymore. i've made some fun mods to this and it really is a fine player. first i ditched the not so great pickups and replaced them with a matched set of Artech Alnico 5 Platinum series. these are nice neck=8.5 bridge=15.5. i also split the neck pickup by way of a mini toggle adds a little something extra. there is some good hardware that being Hipshot tail piece and bridge as well as their open back tuners. some filled in holes left by the original tuners can be seen in the photo. i need to mention i had to modify the bridge to fit standard posts because the jerk i ordered the bridge from failed to send the posts and then refused to answer my numerous e mails. this does not effect the performance of the piece. i've played this guitar a lot so normal wear nothing ugly. one thing i really like is this guitar is (very) slightly scaled down from a Gibson V. makes it far more comfortable to handle. i believe the body is basswood so it's a good deal lighter than a Gibson too. comes with a good new World Tour gig bag. will ship to lower 48 only by UPS signature required. S/H $50.00
