About This Listing

1960’s gretsch round badge kit. I have owned for the last aprox. 12 years, and am selling because I purchased a modern gretsch kit. They have been played in my home only, never gigged. This is a great looking and sounding kit.

20 x 14 kick drum tag number 50137

13 inch rack Tom tag number 49995

16 x 16 floor Tom tag number 35066

Condition:
The wrap on all the drums is in excellent condition. I could only find a couple very light surface scratches on the top of the bass drum. They are only visible with a bright, direct light.
I believe the drums were professionally re-wrapped sometime in the 80s by a previous owner.

The seams on all the drums are an excellent condition, except a small section on the bass drum. There is a 3 to 4 inch section where there is lifting of seam, but seems stable. There is a 6 to 8 inch section of the inlay missing on the under side of the batter side bass drum hoop. This cannot be seen with the kit set up.

All the bearing edges are in excellent condition, and all paper tags are present.

The chrome overall shows very well, and looks great, very shiny. The bottom of hoop of the floor Tom has a couple very small chips in the chrome. The lugs on some of the drums show very light micro pitting, but all chrome is intact. Again, you can only see on very close inspection.

I replaced the bass drum spurs, but will include the originals. The original cymbal holder is included with the kit.

I have done my best to describe the condition of the drums accurately. Please look closely at the pictures, as there are also part of the description. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
l am very careful about packaging safely for shipping on all my items that I sell. Shipping to the lower 48 states only. Thanks for looking.
