A bit of a rare drum here! Transition badge and stamp date it to December 1959. The shell is unpainted and of higher build quality like those from the earlier WFL era. The drum is obviously not all original, but it's beautiful and sounds great. Refurbished and ready to rock!
Condition Notes
Very good shell - Scratches in wrap (including engraved number) as expected with age, excellent shell with original bearing edges, two extra holes from another strainer, wrap cleaned and waxed with carnauba wax
Good hardware - Original nickel lugs, butt plate, nickel over brass bottom hoop, and bottom tension rods; replacement top hoop and tension rods; replacement P85 strainer; lubricated strainer and greased tension rods
Excellent heads and snares - Brand new generic single-ply coated batter head and clear snare-side head; original Ludwig snare wires
