The pedal was tested and works fine.

  • INSIDE is very clean.
  • HARDWARE (switch, nuts / washers, screws) are very clean. The BACK THUMBSCREW -- I went over this screw swth silver marker. I did this because there was some rust & oxidation on it. So the color of the back thumbscrews is a different color from the nickel color screws, nuts/ washers.
  • KNOBS - are very clean

the controls are: Volume and Distortion.  Also:  Resonance, Voicing, Highs, Saturation.

NOTE: the circuit board has TWO INTERNAL TRIMMERS (the are blue square shaped). SEE picture # 5 and picture # 6 - you can also see them in pictures # 3, # 23, and # 24.

I'm not the original owner of the pedal - thererefore I don't know if the previous owner(s) made any adjustments with the Internal Trimmers. So I do not know if they are at the factory / ppreferred settings. I do not see any "small black pen mark notating Fulltone's preferred settings."

Where it is set at now is it's like a distortion.

I did sell a different Fulltone Distortion Pro (on REVERB) a while back and I still have pictures of it and I stlil have acess to that listing. On that pedal these were setting markings on the Internal Trimmers. So - if necessary- i can privide you with that info. Ju tmessage me.

In the link for the Owner's Manul (shown below) - on page 4 you can see the position of trimmer # 2 (the right trimmer) -- but you cannot really make out the position of Trimmer # 1 (the left trimmer).

  • zikinf.com/manuels/fulltone-distortion-pro-manuel-utilisateur-en-44384.pdf
  • The Manual states that they are factory set by Fulltone and "should not be mess with them unless you know what you're doing and have good reason to mess with them."
  • Here's info about the Internal Trimmers:

Internal Trimmer Adjustments: Warning: these trimmers (located inside the pedal) are set by us at the factory and should not be messed with unless you know what you’re doing and have good reason to mess with them! You will find that each one has a small black pen mark notating our preferred settings.

Trimmer #1: regulates the amount of gain of the first stage in the circuit, rotating this trimmer CCW increases the gain. (increasing this setting may cause additional noise and/or hiss) If you are using humbuckers or higher-gained Pickups you may want to reduce the amount of gain here by turning it slightly CW if more clarity and definition is desired. (no more than 1/8 turn).

Trimmer #2: controls the overall maximum available Midrange and Distortion of the pedal...CCW increases the overall mids and Gain, CW decreases it. Please note that too much of this increases noise and lessens the pedal’s ability to clean up when the guitar’s volume knob is backed-off. In other words, we set it here and there’s no need for you to mess with it really!

the jacks are: INPUT, OUTPUT, and adapter jack

=========

The following is information about this model pedal:

Not a FUZZ! Designed to make a Tele, Strat, or other single coil-equipped guitar compete with a Les Paul, although many humbucker-users love it too. The DP-1 has great hi-gain sounds that are FAT and juicy. The "Saturation" knob allows you to soften or sharpen the attack of the notes and to firm the bottom-end. If you have a single-channel amp with a great clean tone then this is the pedal to get to add Marshall-like Lead tones without having to re-adjust the settings on your amp.

NOT A TUBE-DRIVEN PEDAL yet much more "tubey" sounding than many Tube-Driven pedals on the market!

Volume, Distortion, Resonance, Voicing, Hi-End and Saturation controls -- capable of turning the thinnest brightest amp you own into a 100 lb. violin.
========

I took pictures of all sides of the pedal.  There are a few pics of areas of interest and there are some pics of the inside of the pedal. And the first picture shows what it comes with.  Please message me (or make an offer) if you only want to buy the pedal or if you would like to buy the pedal with certain items presented in this listing.

Feel free to ask for more pictures.

NOTE:   There may be some imperfections that I overlooked.   There are some imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures.  Also  - some imperfections show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person.
