Warm Audio ODD Box Hard-clipping Overdrive Pedal-NEW

In brief: Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal with Volume/Tone/Gain Controls and US/UK Switch

At the dawn of the boutique pedal revolution, a certain Comic Sans–branded hard-clipping overdrive changed everything, captivating players with its remarkably amp-like tone and touch-sensitive response. The Warm Audio ODD Box (Obsessive Drive Disorder) faithfully recreates that iconic circuit, delivering an astoundingly accurate homage right down to the side-mounted thumbscrews and premium through-hole construction.

Step on the ODD Box and you’re immediately met with the original’s dynamic, responsive feel. The Drive control moves seamlessly from a subtle clean boost to rich, roaring tube-style saturation, reacting to your picking attack and guitar volume knob with expressive nuance. It’s the kind of overdrive that feels alive under your fingers — transparent yet harmonically complex, powerful yet articulate.

A standout feature is the UK/US toggle, which offers two distinct tonal personalities. The UK setting delivers earlier breakup, increased distortion, boosted volume, and enhanced upper midrange presence for a brilliant, chime-forward response with extra aggression. Switch to the US setting and you’ll find greater headroom and dynamic range, making it ideal as a front-end boost. Push the gain higher and it opens up a raw, gritty voice that rides the line between edge-of-breakup crunch and full-bodied overdrive.

Internally, the ODD Box is built with meticulous attention to detail, utilizing a TL082CP op-amp, hand-selected capacitors and resistors, and 2N7000 transistors. Every component has been carefully chosen to preserve the clarity, punch, and transparent overdrive character that defined the original pedal and helped shape the early boutique era.

For players who obsess over feel, response, and authentic hard-clipping tone, the Warm Audio ODD Box delivers classic drive with uncompromising accuracy and modern reliability.
