Up for sale is a very nice, fairly clean and tidy wide panel 1953 Fender Princeton 5B2 amp. The circuit on this amp is similar to the champ with the added benefit of a tone control.

The tweed presents very well and doesn’t have any major imperfections. The chrome on the control panel has a decent shine and could possibly be made to look even better with a little elbow grease. Finally the leather handle appears to be original but obviously shows its age. Unfortunately the Fender name plate is missing.

I had the amp serviced and everything that needed to be replaced/ updated has been done. I had a three prong power cable installed as well as a tone tubby replacement speaker (the original speaker is included with the sale and will ship in a separate box.) So this amp is ready to go for many years to come!! I will include all old parts as well as the detailed invoice from the amp tech who performed the work.

I cranked it up before putting together this listing and the amp sounds just like a small Fender Tweed Amp should. This is a very nice sounding example with all the hard work out of the way.
The amp is sold as is and I will only sell/ ship it to the continental United States.
