I built this amp, using nothing but the best. Mercury magnetic power trans, Hammond output trans, Jupiter caps, metal oxide resistors, cloth wire , toco pots and jj tubes. Modifications are a pre phase master volume, a lower tone cap so the mods are not affected when the tone rolls down. Larger filter caps and elevated heaters so there is virtually no idle hum. Wonderful sounding amp.
The cabinet is solid walnut and is a little oversized for better bass. The speaker is a Weber signature.
