About This Listing

I'm selling one of my favorite instruments ever, this Stingray classic in white is one of the best looking, and playing bass guitars I've ever had the pleasure of owning. I've been reluctant to post it because I really don't have many 4 string basses, but the fact is I've amassed so many instruments in the past 5 years that I now have to wrestle over which ones get the axe, as bittersweet as that is. I haven't seen any white models listed on here over the last few years either which has always made me wonder how many models were made in white.. These are IMO much better than their current "retro" offering that has fewer colors and less attractive wood's being used for the necks. Many if not most all of the classic models have Birdseye maple being used for the neck, and mine has an especially gorgeous looking Birdseye on it! I did my best to capture the only damage I can see on the instrument. A paint crack at the bottom of the bass next to the strap pin, a paint crack on the front near the left cut away, and a small circular chip of paint off the back left side of the body . Comes with the original case as well!

Here are the details from musicman: The Classic Stingray pays tribute to the original Music Man designs from the mid to late 1970s with added modern refinements. A string through body bridge, mute kit, small profile nickel frets and a curvy 7.5" radius neck are key specifications that harken back to the early days of Music Man production. A modern six bolt neck attachment and an easy access truss rod adjustment wheel ensure solid construction with no hassle adjustments. The classic tone remains true to the original with an ash body, 2 band EQ and a standard Music Man Alnico pickup.
