This is Godin's 12-fret joint nylon string elegato Duet Series Multiac Grand Concert Encore.

This is a cost-effective model from Godin, a company that produces guitars with unique ideas for live use that were unthinkable in the conventional wisdom of guitars. Solid cedar-top maple back double chamber body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, 25.66" (651.764 mm) scale/2" (51.6 mm) nut, 19 frets. Pickups are mounted under the saddle and on the soundboard, respectively, and can be blended with a Fishman custom preamp.

The Godin elegat is attractive to nylon guitar players who feel comfortable playing it. The thin body and howling-resistant body construction make this one of our recommended elegats for active live use.

It shows signs of use (scratches, playing scuffs, gloss on the back of the neck from playing, picking marks, fogging/pits on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, battery replacement, shim adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough to play well. The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen to ±60° (almost neutral).
