BUILT FOR A LEGEND

Well known as the Grammy-winning founder of influential U.S. punk band Rancid, Tim Armstrong is also well respected as a producer and indie label owner. But as a songwriter, he has always turned to his old Fender concert-style acoustic for inspiration. The Tim Armstrong Hellcat is based on Armstrong's own classic instrument, with modern appointments including high-quality onboard electronics. A great guitar for pop, rock, folk and more, it has a solid spruce top for especially sweet sound and a satin-finish maple neck for smooth playability.

A 6-string collaboration between two visionaries

Tim Armstrong is the primary songwriter behind the infamous punk band Rancid. The instrument that served as the muse behind many of the group's classic songs? His trusty '60s Fender acoustic. Tim worked with Fender to design a modern version of his time-tested partner, giving it a strong, rich voice. It also features a few touches of flair to match with Tim's signature style, like Hellcat fret inlays, two skulls adorning its 12th fret, a black painted headstock, and a stunning Checkerboard finish.
