About This Listing

Lovies is proud of offer up this gorgeous Rickenbacker Electro B Lap Steel with Matching AMP. The Lap steel is in fantastic shape with just two tuner tips that have come off, (looks like they are still in the case) with the original tuners. This appears to be an all original matching set sold in the early 40s. The amp is in real nice shape as well but does have fraying of the elcecric power cord so we did not attempt to plug it in. This may require some attention before playing it. Ships for free in the US 48.

Product Overview
The Rickenbacker Model B lap steels from 1937 introduced a second control knob, which moved from the bass side to the treble side some time in 1939. Other minor cosmetic differences came year-to-year, such as an occasional plastic control plate, the exact type of knobs used, and white outlines on the frets. These were also the first Model B instruments to have different colors for the decorative plates on the face of the body, with black plates being the rarest.
