Heavily modified Ace frehley Epiphone Budokan Les Paul. #414 of 1,000 The guitar has had a few changes. The pots have been changed to gibson 500k vintage audio taper. Soldered together modern style with vintage braided wire, ground looped with luxe bumble bee paper and oil capacitors, a switch craft three way switch, switch craft audio jack, gold with gold metal jack plate. I replaced the crappy alpha pots and plastic coated wiring for a more higher end electronics.
The toggle switch plate was switched out to a cream and gold lettering instead of the cream and black letters.
The cheap epiphone tailpiece and bridge have been replaced with nickle silver goto bridge and aluminum tailpiece.
The plastic nut has been replaced with a hand carved and slotted bone nut. Slotted with a low action on the first position. Used stew mac files slotting from 10 to 46. I have 11 gauge strings on it currently.
The perloid blocks have been replaced with real mother of pearl.
Neck reliefed .004 to .005 from the first fret to the body. Action set up at 5/64ths and 3/64ths. Comes with original case candy.
Pole pieces on paf pickups have been adjusted and radiused to improve their sound.
Strap buttons have been replaced with nickle silver strap locks. Will include geniun leather lightning bolt strap. It retails at 50$.
The guitar was purchased through sweetwater and was modified to be more in line with the gibson version. Plays well sounds monsterous and is 9lbs. Has the normal wear and tear of a 12 year old guitar that has been played a lot.
