Folks we have had a few Gronlund guitars in the shop over the past couple of years and they repeatedly blow me away. Handmade in Maine. One at a time by an incredibly gifted builder named James Greene. This is serial #114 so there are only a small number ever built. Like the previous ones I've been privileged to have passed through the shop this is a real head turner. Like Total head turner. Like get ready to see the chiropractor head turner. Just please take a moment and soak in these pics. The finish on the Redwood top is Satin "open grain" nitro and the top literally has some texture - you can feel the variations in the wood grain. Literal butter. Hard maple neck is perfect. I feel it is slimmish. officially on the build sheet it is medium C. Guitar is like new and has seen next to no play. Feels like it is chambered at only 7.6 super comfy pounds but no reference to chambering on the build sheet. I am including the pictured Access STAGE 5 bag - so heavy duty it could survive a nuclear meltdown - at no charge. These bags sell for $250+.
